Chennai Chess Club follows a world-class curriculum designed to deliver highly effective online learning. The curriculum is structured into multiple levels that cater to different skill stages, and every student completes each level with a clear and tangible milestone.
Chennai Chess Club uses a state-of-the-art learning platform built specifically for effective online chess education. The platform combines high-quality video conferencing with an interactive digital chessboard and seamless multi-user collaboration, creating an engaging and immersive learning experience for young students.
We believe children learn best when they play chess in a fun, safe and encouraging environment. To support this, Chennai Chess Club conducts weekly online practice tournaments within each level, giving students a pressure-free space to apply what they learn and grow their confidence without the fear of losing.
At the end of each month, Chennai Chess Club analyses your child’s performance across classroom activities, online tournaments and general gameplay, along with detailed feedback from their coach. Based on this, we create a comprehensive Progress Report and send it directly to your registered WhatsApp number. This helps you clearly understand how your child has improved over the past months and what they are ready to learn next.
We train our students for excellence and guide them towards strong tournament performance. Through graduation tournaments, regular practice events (both online and offline), and curated lists of tournaments they can participate in, we leave no stone unturned in helping your child reach their true potential

FAQ
Parent FAQs – Chennai Chess Club (Online Chess Academy for Kids & Adults)
What is the right age for my child to start learning chess?
Children can begin learning chess online from the age of five. Some children who show early interest and good attention can even start at four.
How are your online classes conducted?
How will you choose the right batch for my child?
Before joining, your child attends a free assessment session. We understand their strengths, current knowledge, and learning style, and then place them in a batch that matches the right age group and skill level.
How do you track and measure my child’s progress?
We continuously monitor your child’s class performance, homework, online games, and tournament results. A dedicated performance coach reviews their progress, and you receive a monthly progress report so you can clearly see how they are improving.
Do you organize practice chess tournaments?
Yes! We conduct two online tournaments every weekend, where children play only against CCC students of similar strength. This creates a supportive, low-pressure environment to practice and improve.
Is learning chess online effective compared to offline classes?
Absolutely. With small batches, level-based grouping, our interactive platform, and continuous progress tracking, online learning becomes extremely effective, often more structured and focused than offline classes.
